About Eunoia
Eunoia Healthcare, formerly Eunoia Psychiatry, now provides services to support both the health of your mind and body in one location. Our medical office is centrally located but we also offer telehealth appointments, when appropriate.
Mission
To validate your experience and support your physical and mental health using science and medicine.
Philosophy
We never walked a day in your shoes; we have only walked in our own. We don’t know what it is like being you. We don’t know how you feel. We don’t know what worries you. We don’t know what you are thinking. We don’t know your pain, even though we know our own. We can only try to imagine. We can only try to put ourselves in your shoes.
It is hard being human. Perhaps you struggle to feel belonging; maybe you wonder if your thoughts and feelings matter; maybe you grapple with your worth. You might possibly know depression, struggle with anxiety, or experience feelings of instability. All of these feelings are part of the human experience; however, there are gentler ways of being. There are healthy ways of navigating this thing called life (RIP Prince). Circumstances can be overcome so that you can experience ease and find the comfort you deserve.
Learning how to love one’s self takes time, bravery, and vulnerability. Sometimes this looks like taking medication, sometimes it doesn’t. You get to decide what is best for you and your future. Perhaps Eunoia is a good fit for you, and perhaps it is not. We only know that our journey is marked by the desire to try to limit suffering, our suffering, and yours too.
Eunoia encompasses a feeling of goodwill, a well mind, and beautiful thinking. Every individual is worthy of improving their experience and living with hope. We are here to help you cultivate wellness in your life.
We are here to help you cultivate wellness in your life, in mind and body.

FAQ
Most frequent questions and answers
Please contact Eunoia to get started:

At the initial appointment, the client and provider will establish a foundation, build trust, and begin the conversation about the challenges that are driving the client to seek assistance. As long as the client completes the intake paperwork prior to the intake appointment, the hour designated for the assessment will include, but is not limited to, a complete physical or psychiatric assessment, depending on your needs and to provide supportive education and/or individual psychotherapy.
Follow-up appointments are meant to assess the effectiveness of the treatment plan, discuss side effects of meds, answer questions, and to provide supportive psychotherapy. These appointments are 30 minutes in length.
Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNP) practice as mental health providers by prescribing medication and offering some therapy, functioning much like psychiatrists (MD/DO). PMHNPs are Registered Nurses (RN) that are master’s educated, having completed the coursework and clinical training to specialize in psychiatry. PMHNPs practice autonomously in Colorado and are regarded as important members of the treatment team. Additionally, Eunoia’s providers have working relationships with psychiatrists, who collaborate with case analysis, provide professional support, and act as mentors.
An FNP is an advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) who provides a wide range of health care services. FNPs maintain patient records; perform physical exams; order or perform diagnostic tests; prescribe medications; develop treatment plans; and treat acute and chronic illnesses, conditions and injuries that fall under primary care.
Research is continuing to show that these medications are associated with a myriad of problems including increased risk of dependence/addiction, memory impairment, poor sleep, and increased risk of accidents such as falls (Kennedy & O’Riordan, 2019). Benzodiazepines are most commonly prescribed to treat anxiety and insomnia; however, we believe there are safer ways to address such issues.
We accept Colorado Medicaid, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Anthem, Optum, and United Behavioral Health.
Mental Health –
Initial (intake) appointments = 60 minutes $300
Follow-up (med management) appointments = 30 minutes $150
***Forensic (legal system issues/court-ordered evaluations) appointments = Retainer $5,000 Hourly = $500
Medical –
Initial (intake) appointments = 60 minutes $200
Follow-up (med management) appointments = 30 minutes $110
This answer is different for each patient. There are many variables that dictate frequency of follow-up appointments; however, once medication stability/efficacy is reached, the average schedule is every 3 months.
It is unfair to claim to know exactly what went wrong without knowing the details of these individuals’ medical histories. Many mitigating factors make fair judgement of their experience impossible. We understand that you might be hesitant and fear starting psychotropic medication. There are many variables to consider when introducing any medication into the human body and we understand that the decision to do so may not be easy. Trust that your concerns will be respected and ultimately, the decision to medicate will be yours. The goal is to help you, not hurt you.
Yes, Eunoia LLC can provide a forensic psychiatric evaluation per your court-ordered mandate but, as noted, this type of evaluation is different from the standard evaluation and must be notated when scheduling.
***It is expected that during the time of appointment scheduling, you will be transparent and make this office aware of your need for forensic evaluation. If it is determined during the intake that what you require is support mandated by a court of law, the intake will be stopped and rescheduled for the appropriate appointment type/rate. In order to be the best help to you, it is of paramount importance that you be forthright about what your needs from Eunoia, LLC are. Thank you.
